beauty how-to: diy clay mask

As you guys know, one on my new year’s resolutions is to up my beauty maintenance.  I’m also conscious of the fact that a lot of beauty products contain things that we just don’t need our skin to absorb. To combat this, I try to keep things as natural as possible.

This mask is so simple.  It’s made of three ingredients and it works so well.  I (try) to put it on twice a week.

Mix 1 tablespoon Betonite clay, 4 drops of ModelCo’s Macadamia Plus Luxury Face Oil and water until you get a paste consistency.(See note)  Apply a thin layer over your face (I use foundation brush) and leave for 10 minutes or until dry.  Rinse and then moisturise.

Note: When using betonite clay, it’s important to keep all metallic surfaces out of contact.  This includes the bowl and spoon you use to mix.
