I’ve started shopping for Spring/Summer. Come watch me play dress ups.
With winter nearly over (thank god!), I’ve started to turn my mind to my warmer months wardrobe and what gaps I need to fill this year (learn about my approach in this video). Continue reading “SHOP WITH ME: my spring wishlist”
I dragged this bag everywhere for the past week – let’s see what I’ve put in it.

Another Wednesday, another video.
Happy Wednesday folks!
Those who follow me on Instagram, know I was in a bit of a panic a few weeks ago when I decided that, after a long hiatus, I would complete the second portion of my degree to become a practicing lawyer. Continue reading “DRESS FOR YOU: lady boss”
There has been a dramatic decline in outfit posts on my Instagram and blog over the past couple of months and when I do post, you’ll notice I’m recycling the same pieces.
As most of you are aware, my wardrobe went through a big cull last year and I’ve been slowly trying to build it back up and create MY perfect wardrobe.
I had been purchasing pieces for the sake of this goal but realised it wasn’t working for me. Things weren’t being worn before I grew tired of seeing them so I’ve decided to take a step back and purchase only as necessary – i.e. to replace an item or for a specific event/occasion. In the meantime, I’ll raid my boyfriend’s closet and live in his things.
Top – Cotton On
Bag – Some market in Ho Chi Minh
Jeans – Rolla’s Jeans
Shoes – Billini
I love dressing up for special occasions and events. I love the entire process. From the search for the perfect outfit, the getting dolled up, to being out wearing something new. So I thought it would make a fun post to talk about the process I go through in determining what I wear for an event or a special occasion. Continue reading “HOW TO: dress for an event”
I’ve realised recently that I’ve been looking at my wardrobe wrong. Rather than trying to keep it ‘minimalist’ and panicking every time a new piece enters it without removing something old, I have changed my tactic in that I’m allowing it to fill with pieces I love (and that fit, are intact and unstained (#mumlife)).
