Another Wednesday, another video.
Last time I posted about my home was an embarrassing 1 year and 8 months ago (you can view that here). I’ve been tackling my house one room at a time which evidently, is an incredibly slow way of doing things. But that’s ok – if we can still function in any given room, we’re happy.
I am becoming increasingly aware of the waste I produce both inside and out of my home. Everything seems to come wrapped up in layers and layers of plastic only to be collected in more plastic and taken to landfill.
When I wanted to update my room, I knew I wanted a few things – 1) I wanted my room to promote relaxation, 2) I wanted good quality bamboo sheets, 3) I wanted a big piece of artwork that I wouldn’t grow tired of and 4) I wanted my bed on the floor.
Alright, I’m calling it – Bella’s room is complete and I can move onto the next.

It seems the minimum requirement is a large mattress in the back but standards climb from there. Many of them have functional kitchens and open right up so that when you chill out in the back, you can see the ocean. Continue reading “It’s a van’s life”
