I’ve always been about taking a dish and making it healthier but as a mum navigating through the difficult toddler years, it’s become even more important. Don’t get me wrong, Bella has some healthy (and odd) favourites – avocados, raw cauliflower, raw mushrooms and any kind of fruit – but if she had her way, her diet would consist mainly of mac and cheese, chocolate, fries and lasagne (after scraping out all of the meat sauce).

In the meantime, I’ll raid my boyfriend’s closet and live in his things.
Top – Cotton On
Bag – Some market in Ho Chi Minh
Jeans – Rolla’s Jeans
Shoes – Billini
I love dressing up for special occasions and events. I love the entire process. From the search for the perfect outfit, the getting dolled up, to being out wearing something new. So I thought it would make a fun post to talk about the process I go through in determining what I wear for an event or a special occasion. Continue reading
We have all heard it a million times before – cut back on plastic. And really, when you do pay attention to the world, it’s amazing to see how much we really do rely on the stuff. It’s not surprising of course, it is undoubtedly useful and if plastic production was ever to stop, we’d have a bit of a task thinking of substitutions. Continue reading
